Albergue Casa Albano

Way too expensive.

Dolors made us feel completely at home during our few days here over Holy Week. The hostel is lovely, in a spectacular little mountain village, and everything was fantastic 😄👏. We'll definitely come back 🤗.

I wouldn't go back to Casa Albano hostel or deal with Dolors again. They advertise services that weren't provided. There was no fan or air conditioning, even though air conditioning was listed, and there were no towels despite the listing mentioning them. A shared pool was also advertised, but the girl at the pool told us it wasn't included and we'd have to pay extra. I'll attach the list of advertised services. We paid 400 euros with all services supposedly included, including breakfast, but breakfast wasn't provided. When we asked Dolors to explain, her attitude was awful. She hung up, we couldn't reach her afterward, and nobody offered a solution. I don't recommend paying for this hostel. Once you've paid, you don't get the advertised services, can't contact them, and wind up paying for everything.

The food portions were generous, homemade, and delicious. Breakfast comes with the accommodation, and the service was impeccable and efficient. The young staff were friendly, attentive, and great with customers. Our stay was comfortable and pleasant, with air conditioning. The shower was very small, though, and the bathroom smelled quite musty. Still, the staff's care and the peaceful setting would bring us back.
