The secure, spacious parking was what brought us here, and the hotel turned out to be a great choice. We liked the building's history, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were cheerful and polite, and the bar was lovely. The olives were probably the best we had during our three weeks in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. The restaurant was busy with locals, a good sign, and the food smelled heavenly. I’m a chef, so I could appreciate the hospitality on offer. We couldn’t eat there because of our trip plans, but I’d definitely book a table. We skipped breakfast too, as we had to catch a ferry. The location is very central, close to the town centre and everything it offers.

A fair price, gated secure parking and an easy walk into the centre of town. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the place had a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of character.

The rooms were spacious, bright and very clean, and the meals were excellent. The staff were wonderful too. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It was perfect, genuinely first class, absolutely marvelous. Bilbao is about 30 minutes away by car or train, so you can stay here and make the trip there.

The restaurant food is out of this world. It’s a shame the bar closes earlier for hotel guests.

We found no faults at all. The building is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the staff were very helpful. The beds were the most comfortable we experienced on our trip around northern Spain. There was safe parking for our motorbike too. Thank you.
