After the staff changed the stained sheets and left, I spotted a spider in the bed. The blanket had women’s hair on it, and the room was very cold. The staff weren’t helpful.

The location is great, but that’s about all this place has going for it. It’s a very dated one-star hotel that feels more like a hostel. Hot water was unreliable, sometimes there wasn’t any, and the staff seemed stretched thin, especially with a group. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is lovely, but I wouldn’t come back or recommend it. The kitchen was listed as open until 24:00, but when we arrived we were told the cook had left early because nobody needed serving, so we ended up with takeout pizza. Our room was clean, though the three of us, my husband, our small child and me, had to share twin beds. They creaked all night, and the thin walls let us hear everything. The staff weren’t friendly or helpful.

Lovely surroundings and a beautiful place. The rooms and bar are cheap, highly recommend.
