Hotel Alegria

The advertised photo doesn't show what it's actually like. There's a gas station right outside, which feels dangerous, and there isn't a parking lot. The parking is across the street and doesn't belong to the hostel. There isn't a place to relax, a cafeteria, or a bar either. The owners go to La Peña hotel and restaurant to eat and play cards, which has better facilities and services and good staff. To me, that says a lot about their own place. It feels like a scam, and I absolutely don't recommend it.

This is a hostel, not a hotel, and the Booking.com price is outrageous for the quality. The photos show the facade, but the rest of the facilities have old, accumulated dirt and mold in the shower. The staff seemed unqualified and treated guests with contempt, apparently because they don't think Imserso customers pay enough. Before check-in, when we asked for a luggage cart, they said, "What do you expect for what you pay?" The food also leaves a lot to be desired. Whether you come through Imserso or book on Booking.com, don't expect much. €80 is absurd for the facilities, service, and staff professionalism. You decide where your money goes and where to stay on vacation.

The restaurant serves fantastic food, and the service was excellent. The rooms are beautiful, cozy, and very clean. A hotel well worth a visit.

We got home exhausted at 6 am after working all night and needed to sleep. The cleaning staff opened the rooms, spoke loudly, and woke us up. They practically had music playing too!
