Apartaments La Carpa

The restaurant really let the place down, especially given its location. Even ordering something simple like water took ages, if it arrived at all. The food had no taste, no salt or pepper. The rooms and hotel itself were nice, clean, and very good, but the restaurant was disappointing. The chef and waitresses seemed very inexperienced.

Being right in front of the lake was a great location, and we made sure to walk around it before leaving. The apartments felt fresh and roomy, with a well equipped kitchen and a super comfortable bed. Since Banyoles has really hard water, I appreciated that it’s treated to soften it. My skin and hair did too! We ordered from the restaurant and the food came to our room quickly, and was delicious. The staff were super helpful, and the facilities are awesome, especially for cyclists: there’s bike storage, laundry facilities, and a gym/massage area. Good value for the location. We’ll definitely come back.

We stayed with our family for a week. We’d been to Banyoles before, but this was our best stay there. The views from the room were astonishing, and there’s a restaurant right downstairs that’s perfect for breakfast and lunch. Everything is new, very clean, and well cared for. Amazing place, easily the best vacation apartments in Banyoles for us. We’ll be back for sure.

Friendly, accommodating staff and a great location. The price was extremely reasonable, parking was good, and the bike storage and washing setup were amazing. Everything is new and nice, and the room had just what we needed. Can’t ask for much more.
