The rooms were nice and the service was friendly, but the mosquitoes were awful. We tried cream and plugged-in repellents rated five times stronger, and still got bitten through our clothes. Each of us left with more than 15 bites. No idea if there's a swamp nearby, but be prepared.

My daughter loved being out in nature, and there was plenty of room for the children to play safely. The setting is peaceful, comfortable, and full of fresh air, yet the beach and town are close by if you need anything. We came as a family and found the activities and surroundings spectacular. Juan and all the staff were so kind, trustworthy, and helpful. A lovely place for a family or couple's getaway. We highly recommend it and will be back. Thanks so much, Juan, as always. A big hug. 😊

The days we spent at Finca el Abuelo left us feeling completely recharged. Its natural surroundings are lovely, and the beach, Barbate, and the idyllic spots in Vejer are all nearby. We loved the location and the place itself, and the service was wonderful. Definitely somewhere I'd return to.

A beautiful natural setting and a great place to switch off. Juan and his son Juanito made us feel very welcome. Everything was great, and we'd definitely come back.
