Hostal Fortuna

We used the bar and restaurant on site every day, grabbing coffee, juice, and breakfast, then coming back for a few beers in the evening. The staff were friendly, and the room was cleaned really well. The room seemed to have been renovated quite recently, with outdoor space, a great bathroom, a fridge, and strong air-conditioning. There's plenty of parking too. Los Caños de Meca is in a great spot, walking distance to the best beaches, beach bars, bars, restaurants, and shops. We'll visit again.

The beach access is right in front of the Hostal, and the beach is a dream. There are a few small shops nearby, with bigger ones in the surrounding towns. We spent 4 nights there in september and felt welcome and comfortable the whole time. Everyone was lovely. The rooms matched the pictures, modern and comfortable, with air conditioner and a fridge for drinks or Snacks. Breakfast was a treat, especially the best tostadas and fresh orange juice every morning. Thanks for a great stay :)

The people working there were welcoming and helpful, and I had a nice sea view from one of the new rooms. It had plenty of hot water with good pressure. I didn't have breakfast included, but the scrambled eggs and crushed tomatoes were perfect, and the fresh orange juice and coffee were very good too. The WiFi could have been better.

The team ran the hostal really well, especially the young woman at the breakfast bar, who was efficient and hardworking. The rooms are fully equipped, with excellent beds and a nice big terrace in the lower appartments. Breakfast costs 7 Euros and is worth it, with quality products. It deserves 3 official stars, and I'd highly recommend staying here.
