I arrived at reception at the time shown on booking.com, which said check-in was available until late afternoon. I had trouble paying by card, so I moved the money to another card and asked reception to wait ten minutes. The woman told me to leave and left me on the road with my two children and all our luggage because, she said, she was hungry and needed to go home. People passing by helped me find another hotel. She also cancelled my booking and told booking.com I hadn’t shown up. Horrible, rude treatment. Don’t spend your money on people who treat others like that. Disgusting.

The architecture, interiors, and atmosphere have an amazing old-time feel, while still offering all the modern facilities.

We were a large group and got excellent service. The rooms were very clean, and the towels were changed every day. We had a noise problem with other guests one night, but after we mentioned it the next day, they sorted it out.

February 2026. The room was nice and very good value for the price. The reception staff were welcoming and generous.

The room was spotless, practical, and comfortable, with a fresh renovation. Everyone was welcoming, and Mari deserves a special mention for how attentive and dedicated she was with each guest. This family-run place is a very respectable choice when nearby hotels are so expensive, and the value for money is excellent.
