The breakfast was amazing, though the hotel is quite far from the main places and the metro station is an Uber ride away. I arrived in Barcelona on a red-eye flight and got to reception around 3:45 a.m. It took until about 4:20 to get into my room, a nearly 40-minute wait I’ve never had to deal with before. The front desk agent struggled the whole time and even called a manager. I kept asking what was wrong, but he said everything was fine, which clearly wasn’t the case. The wait was completely unacceptable.

We had to leave because there was no running water. I reported it at reception, but my complaint was ignored. They told me to go downstairs and take bottles of water. Outrageous and unacceptable. Any hostel would have been better.

The bed and blankets were very comfortable. It’s a pleasant executive hotel, with a spacious room and a bathroom that’s wheelchair friendly.

The staff were nice and the room was great. There’s free parking in front of the hotel, and from here you can easily reach the centre of Barcelona by car.

Breakfast at the restaurant costs around 15 euros, which is too much by Barcelona standards, and the restaurant doesn’t open at night. The AC is fixed at 23C throughout the hotel, with no way to change the temperature. I don’t need anyone deciding what temperature I should sleep at. The bed board was so dirty that we had to cover it with a sheet. There was blood and other dirt on it.
