Allegro Barcelona

Staff at the 24 hour reception were very helpful, and I was entirely pleased with my stay. The room was very clean, the shower excellent, and the bed really comfortable. My deluxe double had a fridge and kettle, which came in handy. You can buy breakfast for 16 euros; I didn't, though it looked very good. The hotel is in a great neighbourhood, Eixample, close enough to the sights but far enough away to be quiet.

The room was spacious and quiet, away from the street, and the bluetooth sound system actually worked. That's a first for me, since hotel systems like that often don't work or are janky. This was probably one of the best business trip hotels I've stayed in. The desk staff were extremely helpful with check-in and gave me good tips on Barcelona travel and the local scene.

The staff were really good, and the location is splendid. La parade, where you can catch the hop on and hop off bus, is only a 4-minute walk away. Just 10 metres from the hotel there's a nice Turkish halal food place next to authentic pizza, and a supermarket is right across the street. Breakfast was really good, with lots of variety. I hadn't booked it at first, but after seeing the menu I added it for my 3 days stay at 13€ / person/ day. I'd strongly recommend this for couples and first timers.

We spent 11 nights at this lovely boutique hotel. It's small, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The smallest room is extremely small, so I'd suggest choosing a larger one. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even getting a doctor’s appointment for our daughter. The location is perfect, with everything you need outside the door, an easy walk or short taxi ride to points of interest, and the metro just two blocks away. I highly recommend Allegro!
