The beds were comfortable, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The basement restaurant was lovely too. I enjoyed the yucca balls with a glass of rosé cava, though mosquitoes down there kept biting me while I ate. We never got to enjoy the rooftop or its advertised views. We tried going yesterday evening, but it was closed for a private event. Guests only found out from a notice on the elevator that day. We tried again this morning, when it was closed for a photoshoot, and it was due to close for another private event for the rest of the day. The two free drinks the front desk offered after a mistake also had to be used in the basement, since the rooftop was unavailable to guests. The mini fridge in our room wouldn't keep anything cool, no matter which setting we tried. We also had Do Not Disturb on in the app and on the door, but staff still came in by accident. The front desk gave us two free drinks for that. If you just want a comfortable bed in a quieter neighborhood away from the tourist areas, this may work. Just don't count on using the amenities or having your privacy requests respected.

The staff were friendly and welcoming everywhere, and the hotel was peaceful even though it welcomes children and pets. Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices. The rooms were lovely and clean, with a bath and a walk-in shower. There's a great rooftop terrace bar with panoramic views. Sagrada Família is about a 15-minute walk away, and the Metro is close too.

At Labtwentytwo Barcelona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Yasmina and Ruben at the front desk were especially friendly and helpful, offering restaurant suggestions with a smile. The room service, breakfast, location, and value for the amenities were all great. A high-quality stay with excellent service.

The rooms were comfortable and well kept, and the beds made it easy to rest after a day exploring Barcelona. I also liked that the gym stays open 24/7. The rooftop pool is a lovely place to cool off while looking out over the city. There are several food and drink options: a relaxed lobby bar, a rooftop restaurant with a view, and a buffet restaurant for convenience and variety. The lobby itself feels welcoming, with a cozy reading nook and some genuinely interesting books. Greenery gives the hotel a fresh, calming feel, especially the tall wall covered in plants. The modern, elegant design has plenty of character and feels thoughtfully put together. LabTwentyTwo feels like more than just somewhere to sleep, with lots of nice details. I'd happily recommend it.

The only drawback was a bad smell in the corridor. My room smelled completely fine, though. It was clean, with a soft, comfortable bed and a lovely modern bathroom. The reception team were excellent, always ready to help or offer suggestions. One of the coziest places I've stayed in Barcelona.
