We spent 10 days here, and the place was noisy and badly maintained. The room had damaged items, marks on the walls, and a light hanging partly out of the ceiling. There was even a dead pigeon on the fake grass for more than 10 days. Towels were changed after 3 days, which was okay, but the room wasn't cleaned until we'd been there 6 days. Reception was hard to reach by phone, and most times there was nobody there when I went down. I saw one receptionist during the whole stay. One night, after 10pm, a fire door alarm went off for ages and could be heard through the doors and into the bedroom. Check-in was a mess too. There was no entry code and no reference number for the machine, so I had to go to another hotel twice. It took over an hour to get checked in. For the money, it feels like a joke. Stay somewhere else if you can. This place doesn't deserve your money.

At least the bed was comfortable. The walls are so thin that it can feel pretty scary, and there was no staff in the lobby. The check-in machine didn't work either, so you have to get help at another hotel. Nothing in the lobby told you that.

The apartment wasn't clean, which is a basic hygiene and upkeep problem at these prices. Hesperia Apartments Fira also offers no room service at all for stays under 10 days, so you may be using the same towels for up to ten days. Breakfast isn't included, adding to the cost and inconvenience. The location made getting around Barcelona uncomfortable for me. It's far from the city center, and the neighborhood didn't feel safe, especially at night. The front desk staff weren't helpful or professional when I raised issues and showed no urgency. The apartments are poor value, uncomfortable, and badly managed. I wouldn't recommend staying here, and I won't come back.

Thanks to Jomari and the technicians who helped sort out our TV. We had trouble getting it working in our 1 bedroom suite, and also ran into a problem with self check-in at Hesperia. Jomari stayed on top of both issues and followed up until we were happy with the room amenities. She went well beyond her role and looked after other guests too. Hyatt needs more employees like her. Kudos to Jomari.

Everything was good and very clean 😊. The location is handy too, with a supermarket nearby and buses and the L1 metro about 200 m away.
