We were graciously looked after throughout our stay, from the front desk to the luggage helpers and breakfast team. On arrival, the welcoming reception staff brought our bags to the room and offered us a glass of sparkling wine. The rooms are well appointed, with a very comfortable bed, an honor refrigerator, and snacks. The bathroom was well stocked and had a remarkable shower system. Breakfast runs from 7am to 11am for a nominal fee, and the food is excellent whether you choose the buffet or order from the menu. Hotel La Pau is also perfectly placed for walking to the boat harbor, shopping, and nearby excellent restaurants. There are plenty of places to stay in Barcelona, but it's hard to find anything better than Hotel La Pau.

Most of Barcelona's sights are walkable from here, including La Rambla, Gothic Quarter, Marina, and museums. It's also easy to get around by foot, bike, bus, train, or taxi. The staff were outstanding, offering good recommendations and helping us with buses, trains, and taxis. Our room was clean and cool. We loved the whole experience at Hotel La Pau, from start to finish. Gracias Hotel La Pau!

After a day sightseeing, the rooftop pool was a welcome way to cool off. We loved our three-night stay. The design and decor are fantastic, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the location is terrific. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Barcelona.

We had two adjoining rooms for our family of five, out of the hotel's 24 rooms, and were perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, and the lobby's “Honesty Bar” was a nice touch. Look for the two pieces of “connecting art” at the back of the lobby. There's also a small rooftop pool and bar, a peaceful spot for a cool break in the middle of the day. Staff spoke multiple languages and were incredibly hospitable, happily helping with all our needs. This delightful boutique hotel sits just off La Rambla, close to the top spots but away from the noise and bustle. It's our new favorite for a local, unique stay in a great city location.
