ibis Barcelona Meridiana Hotel

We stayed six nights as a family of two adults and one child, and it was a lovely visit. The triple room’s bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. It wasn’t especially big, but that made sense for the price. Breakfast was fresh, had plenty of variety, and felt like good value. The whole team was kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home at ibis Barcelona Meridiana.

The room got quite cold at night because the air conditioning wouldn’t heat it, which made things less comfortable. Aside from that, I had a pleasant stay at the ibis hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Breakfast had a decent range, and the hotel was a reliable, convenient option that met the basic ibis standards.

The room stayed perfectly clean, and the hotel shares a building with a shopping center, so the supermarket and pharmacy are easy to get to. The metro is fairly close too, with L1 and L4 about the same distance away. It seemed like a decent option at the best price in Barcelona at the time. I might stay again for one or two nights, but without a child, since the room is too small for three, and without breakfast. We followed the email advice and checked in online, expecting a smooth arrival. We still had to give an email address and wait in line. Staff were friendly and kind. One day we returned to find we couldn’t get into our room, then learned we had to move because of maintenance. We were given keys to both rooms so we could transfer our things. The breakfast was my biggest disappointment. I’d read online that it was very good, but the food seemed processed and overly sweet, the coffee was bad, and even the tomato tasted like plastic.

My family and I had such a lovely time in a clean, comfortable room. Mari Carmen del Castillo made my daughter feel really special. Thank you!
