The room was cleaned nicely, but the mattresses are TERRIBLE. There wasn’t a single glass, knife or fork in the room, and no vending machine even downstairs. Getting help was basically impossible. I’ve stayed here twice. The first time was just a quick in-and-out, and the system was new and badly organized.

We stayed five days, and our room had ANTS. Leave a sweet drink or dessert uncovered and within ten minutes there’ll be a lot of ants around it!!!!!! That’s unacceptable in a hotel room.

We paid a reasonable price, which was appealing given how expensive Barcelona hotels can be. The area and hotel seemed very safe, and having a laundromat right next door was fantastic. It was a bit of a walk to the stations, though. The building is new and modern, with a large shared room where guests can get free water and coffee, plus a vending machine. Our accessible room was very large and also had a big, partly private outdoor area. The entry codes arrived in advance and worked without trouble. The next morning, we noticed our room door was ajar and wouldn’t close. That stressed us out and cost us valuable travel time. Cleaning staff were the only people we saw in person; otherwise, communication was on WhatsApp. That’s a downside of a hotel without staff on site. All in all, it wasn’t bad.

The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and the closest metro station was about a 5-6 minute walk away. We stayed at Limehome for three nights with my partner and had a great experience. The room stayed tidy and clean, and coffee, tea and towels were replenished or changed each day. I really like the automatic system. We completed online check-in weeks before the trip and even asked for early check-in, so we were able to get into our room early. I suspect people who complain in the comments may not have done the online check-in on time, which could cause problems.

There was no option to leave our luggage in the building after check-out, which is one of the main reasons I book a “hotel.” I won’t stay here again. The check-in process was pretty awful. I had to fill in a lot of information and pay an extra fee that my booking platform hadn’t mentioned. The hotel hadn’t sent any instructions in advance, either, so I ended up sitting outside in the heat with all my luggage, waiting for the code to enter the building.
