We never got to try the food. At 3:15 p.m., our group of four adults and four children asked if we could eat. The waitress looked at us disdainfully and snorted, then said, after checking with the kitchen, that all the tables were reserved, even though they were empty. A polite explanation that the kitchen was closed or something else would've been fine. There was no need for the sneering or dishonesty. We were in Cicero for a few days and had no wish to return. We went instead to El Trastorillo, another bar in town, where they were very friendly and served us despite the late hour. Everything we tried there was delicious.

The mountain stew was delicious, and at €9.50 the set menu is good value. It's a basic roadside restaurant, so eat up and carry on with your trip. Four stars for the price.

We ate there five days running, and everything we tried was exquisite, especially the local dishes and mountain stew. The portions were generous, and the menu price was more than affordable. We also had dinner one evening, and that was delicious too. The desserts were great, particularly the cheesecake, and the service was fantastic. If you're in the area, don't hesitate. The quality for the price is 100%.

Right in the middle of the Joyel and Santoña Marshes Nature Reserve. The pan-fried clams are excellent, though the service is average.
