The lighthouse itself made our stay special: it's a real, working lighthouse, and we could go right up to the top and onto the terrace for amazing views all around. The apartment was immaculate, and the pool was spotless. Breakfast was delicious, and the wonderful hosts made sure we had everything we needed, including thoughtful extras like yoga mats. The decor was beautiful, with care put into every detail. We loved it and hope to come back someday. Don't miss it if you get the chance!
The housekeeper was so friendly and her service made the stay even better. We also loved waking up to the sound of waves in this historic lighthouse, beautifully adapted for guests. The Atlantic views were breathtaking, the facilities blended modern comfort with the rugged character of the building, and breakfast had a superb range of fresh local products delivered to us. A truly memorable place on La Palma, highly recommended.
We spent three nights here in September, and the place was even more beautiful in person than the official photos suggest. It's wonderfully secluded, though not completely cut off. From the infinity pool, ground terrace, rooftop terrace or top of the lighthouse, you can watch the sunrise and sunset or stargaze. This is a romantic getaway in every sense. The area is closed to tourists, and with just three apartments in the lighthouse, it shouldn't get crowded.
We bought food at a local mercado before check-in and had a picnic on the deck, listening to the waves below, watching the lighthouse light turn and shine, and looking up at the stars. The place feels incredibly private, a little piece of paradise. The charming lighthouse is only 150 steps from the views, and there are fold-down seats at the top for watching sunrise and sunset. Inside, the rooms have water-facing windows that let in cool breezes, a modern kitchen, a really comfortable bed and soft lighting. An ocean dream come true!
My husband and I stayed for a week and wished we'd booked longer. The views were gorgeous, the rooms clean and cozy, and Pilar, the property manager, was wonderful. She made breakfast for us every morning, while the owner, Tim, replied to questions within a few hours. My husband used the pool several times, but February was too cold for me to get in. Shops and restaurants are an easy drive away. I can't recommend this place enough.
