Hotel Playa de las Catedrales

What made the stay for us was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and shared lots of great recommendations. The room was clean, breakfast was really good and worth the price, and the location made it easy to get around with plenty to see nearby. I'd recommend it and hope I can come back.

The beach was right across the street, and there was a great restaurant nearby. We wanted somewhere close to the beach at La Cata Ross, and this place was perfect. We really enjoyed our day there. The owner also went out of his way to help us find bicycle routes to our next stop the following day.

A great breakfast, a clean place, and VERY friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay. It's a good base for visiting the beach; go along the boardwalk at low tide to see the rock formations.

The team was fantastic, both at reception and in the breakfast room, and Playa de las Catedrales is very close. Those were the hotel's biggest advantages. The room was tiny and cold in every sense, the bathroom still smelled after the renovation, and there was mold visible under the paint. We worried the uncomfortable bed might fall apart. The soundproofing was terrible, so we could hear everything from nearby rooms and reception. The surroundings aren't very attractive or much like a seaside holiday setting. Most of all, the room was incredibly overpriced.
