Panoramico Playa de Altar II

The woman who welcomed us at the office was really friendly and told us about lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The rooms were quite spacious and very clean. The best part was watching a goat bring two kids into the field. It was beautiful, and you can see horses there too. We’ll definitely return, highly recommended.

We felt very comfortable. The only drawback was the small shower tray. A toaster would have made the kitchen facilities perfect.

I wanted to book seven nights for our two dogs, but the charge here is nothing like what we’ve paid anywhere else in Galicia, where we’ve stayed several times. Most places charge €5 per dog per night, and many charge us as if we had just one because the dogs are so well behaved. Few people seem to want dogs at these apartments. The woman told me it was €15 per dog per night, with no way around it. Absolutely not. I’m not paying more than €200 just to bring my dogs when they don’t create any extra expenses. I find it completely outrageous.

The person who helped us was friendly and attentive throughout, and even helped with online check-in. We give her a 10. But I wouldn’t stay here again. The apartment looked clean, though it didn’t smell good. The beds were very uncomfortable, both mattress and pillows, and the main bedroom had no ventilation. The sofa was quite dirty and stained, and could use a cover that’s easier to clean. The towel rack was rusty, and the shower had a plastic curtain.
