The house was spotless and stayed cool even in the summer heat. It’s been restored with loads of charm, and the beds were so comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the garden, lounging in the sun and eating outside. We also loved cycling the Senda del Oso from Proaza up to Bar Peña Sobia. It was a hot ride, but the views, cold drinks and great food at the top made it worth it. The downhill trip was much quicker! Our host was warm, helpful and knew the area well. Near Barzana, the setting is gorgeous, quiet and green. It made a lovely base for exploring Asturias and we came away feeling refreshed. We’d love to come back.

We only stayed two nights, but had a great time. The host was kind and helpful, and her suggestions for restaurants and places around the region were all great. It’s a lovely spot in a convenient location, and very good value. We’ll be back, thank you!

We had all four apartments for our group of friends, and it worked out really well. Julieta made us feel welcome and was attentive throughout. There’s plenty of room to gather, with spacious grounds and even a play area. The apartments have the kitchen utensils you need, plus a barbecue. Lovely views, easy access and lots of parking too.

We had a great time using the barbecue area for grilling and paella, and eating at the outdoor tables. There’s a big garden, hammocks and a generous play area, all by the river with easy access to fresh air and sunshine. We rented two houses in mid-June with a group of friends. Julieta welcomed us and was so kind. Everything was kept in excellent shape, and the houses felt carefully put together. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It was so quiet and relaxing. She’d even left blueberries from her garden in each house, which were delicious. Thanks so much, Julieta, for looking after us. We highly recommend staying here!
