We'd had a good stay here before, so it was a real letdown to come back and have this experience. After our second day, we found a crack in the windshield. We'd paid for parking, and the car hadn't been damaged when we arrived. When we asked reception about cameras, a staff member came to look and said the parking wasn't exclusive to the hotel, then added that we were the only ones using it at the time. She first said there was something written about the parking not being monitored, but when my husband asked where, she looked around and couldn't find it, then said it was somewhere outside or by the elevator. There hadn't been a notice when we arrived. After the incident, a paper appeared in a parking space saying the hotel didn't monitor the lot and wouldn't accept responsibility. It was very low. We dealt with it through our insurance, but the way it was handled was pathetic. A sign in a parking spot can be hidden by a parked car. At least move it to the door and put it in English, since there's time to do that now. When I edited this review, I was replying to the claim about the notice: it was put up after the parking incident. There were two versions, first plain paper and then, the next day, laminated. Take responsibility. At the very least, an apology would show some decency. On the morning we were leaving, we also got trapped in the elevator at 5 a.m. The lift says it holds 8 people or 680 kg. There were five of us, weighing about 368 kg together, so we weren't overloading it. Reception is open 24 hours, but nobody came to check on us for 15 minutes. When someone finally did, they only asked if everything was all right, then the receptionist left us there. We were stuck for 38 minutes. My mom was having a panic attack, so we had to call 112 for an ambulance, and there were two minors with us. An absolute shame. One good thing, the cleaning ladies were amazing.

The staff were lovely, and I liked having a bidet in the bathroom. The apartment was well equipped, though I did miss having bowls in the kitchen. There was a slightly old furniture smell in the room, but opening the windows helped clear the air, and you could smell the ocean. They have a self-service laundry room, or they'll do the laundry for you, both for a fee.

We held my daughter's wedding meal and evening reception at this hotel, and the room worked perfectly for both. The food and service were amazing, the price was excellent value, and the children were made welcome. Some of our guests stayed at the hotel and said their rooms were spacious and very clean, with nice extras such as a small kitchen. The bride and groom had the special romantic room. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff.

We spent three nights here in April, and the apartment was spotless, with a fully equipped bathroom, kitchen, and dining area. The staff were polite and helpful. It's in the lovely town of Oleiros, only a short bus ride from the centre of beautiful La Coruña. Probably the cosiest, most family-friendly hotel I've stayed in. I'd especially recommend it for families with young kids.
