Cueva El Guindas

A week of pure bliss for our family of five, including our three girls under six. Even with 38 degrees outside, it stayed at a perfect temperature indoors, so we didn't need air conditioning. The pool was great fun, and having a BBQ was a nice touch. It was lovely to spend time getting to know my girls in such a peaceful place. The Wi-Fi was better than in most hotels, though the signal didn't reach the deeper parts of the cave. There's not much to do in Baza itself, but that's not what you're coming for. Enjoy.

I spent the weekend there with my partner, our dog and our cat. The owner was the sweetest, the place is unique and beautiful, and everything was spotless. We loved it, and there was nothing missing.

The owner also offers off-road tours, and they’re worth doing. We’ve stayed here a couple of times and found it a lovely spot to switch off and get away from everything. It may be a few years before we make it back, but we’ve enjoyed our visits.

We were there from 20.1.-29.1.22 for a motorcycle trip. The cave is tucked away but still close to Baza and its amenities, and we could park right outside. The fireplace was a favorite, with plenty of good firewood available. Jane and Aram were helpful whenever we needed information or help sorting something out. The larger cave works well for three single travelers or two couples. In winter, I’d suggest having an extra electric heater for the bathroom.
