Hostal Los Hermanos

Los Hermanos is both a restaurant and a hostel in baza, and I often go there with my whole family. There's an endless menu with lots of different flavors, from spicy food to sweet desserts and bitter notes in some exotic dishes. They also have healthy meals, and you can count on having a great meal with your relatives.

16/10/25, we visited again and had one of the best paellas I've ever had, absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the broccoli gratin and tried a bite of my husband's Solomillo with pepper sauce. The two waiters were excellent again and kept the busy lunchtime service under control. The menu del día was 14€ including dessert and a drink. We'll be back. *** We had an excellent Menu del Día for 13€ today. Everything was piping hot, and the Codillo del Horno con Salsa was delicious. The Red Velvet cake, described as chocolate cake with strawberry, was lovely and not the kind of dessert you usually see elsewhere. There were several dessert options, and the two waiters handled the packed restaurant calmly and efficiently. The restaurant is in a great spot just off the main road into Baza, with plenty of free parking right outside. It's one of the few places open on a Monday. We'll be back!

We came for lunch on a Monday and found the place packed. The €13 menu del día had a good range of choices, and everything arrived hot and tasted delicious. The waiters were friendly and quick. I think they might make their own beer too. There’s seating indoors and outside, plus plenty of parking out front.

Our Spanish builder recommended this place, so we brought our visitors from Ireland for dinner on a Tuesday. It was full, but the meal and service were both superb. We tried goat cheese with quince jelly, oven baked lamb shoulders, a burger and cod. Our Spanish is still pretty basic, but the girl serving us spoke English better than we speak Spanish. We forgot to ask her name 🙈. A really lovely evening, highly recommended.
