Hostal Sa Barraca - Adults Only

The bedroom was spotless, with a high-quality mattress, comfortable linen sheets and a private terrace, and the bathroom was just as clean. The sea view was breathtaking, too. The hotel is charming and carefully put together, run by a lovely couple who make you feel at home. It felt like spending the holidays at your grandparents’ house, with vintage decor, soft jazz as you enter, and a cozy shared space for breakfast, reading, cards or simply watching the view throughout the day. I’d definitely recommend the homemade breakfast. The owners are happy to share their favorite tips for eating, sightseeing and making the most of Begur. There’s also a handy parking area if you’re driving.

The panoramic ocean view from our seaside room was amazing. It was clean, and the hosts were always glad to help. The married couple who run Sa Barraca were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast is freshly made and absolutely worth having. The hotel is well placed, with the ocean and supermarkets nearby.

The breakfast was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We loved the view and the location, but what stood out most were the hosts. They were the kindest people we met. It felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return.

The hospitality from Juan and Pilar was the best part of our stay. They were so caring and considerate, made us feel right at home, and even humoured my attempts to speak Catalan with them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with AC and a balcony, and the views were stunning. We loved spending time at Hostal Sa Barraca. It’s close to all the lovely beaches around Begur, and we appreciated being able to use the kitchen as well as order coffees and food in the morning. The location is amazing, but the hospitality even more so. Thank you, Juan and Pilar. We hope to return soon!
