The pool area in front of the rooms was the icing on the cake. The location is brilliant, the staff are super nice and helpful, and both the rooms and breakfast were wonderful. Everything was clean. Definitely recommend it if you’re staying around here.

I stayed for a couple of nights between Christmas and New Year and enjoyed the place a lot. The rooms were sunny, it was quiet, and the hosts were lovely. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

The hosts were gracious and welcoming, and the suite was bright, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood felt safe and was easy to get around, and we walked to nearby restaurants for dinner. After a great breakfast prepared by the hosts, we set off on a spectacular hike to the Mediterranean. They pointed us to the right trails and welcomed us when we got back. We’d definitely return.

The location worked really well for us with a car: there’s a public car park about 30 seconds away, and the old town is an easy, pleasant walk. We also walked up to the castle in the morning for those amazing views over Begur. We visited in October and used the pool, too. The room was beautifully furnished, with a really comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. Breakfast was great, and we could choose how we wanted our eggs cooked. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and made sure we were comfortable. Don’t let the two stars put you off, this little gem deserves better. We had a perfect stay and will definitely be back. It’s an easy weekend trip from Cork, with flights to Girona and a hire car.
