We spent four days here with 12 family members, five of them children, and there was plenty of room. The house has two double rooms, two twin rooms and another with four single beds, plus three bathrooms, one on each floor. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the rooms are bright and spacious. Outside, there’s a lovely porch, a garden with a barbecue, and swings for the kids. Everything was clean and well kept. The owners showed us around, explained how things worked and left written suggestions for local restaurants. The village is a 15-minute drive away and has a supermarket, health center and more horse riding. Elizondo and the Baztan Valley are about 50 minutes away, while Bertiz Natural Park, its Botanical Garden and hiking trails are close by. A beautiful house in a spectacular spot for a few days in Navarre.

On the sunnier days, we went for walks and swims at the beautiful Leurza Reservoir. When it was cloudy, we explored places nearby, including Pamplona, San Sebastián, Hondarribia, and Biarritz. The house itself is full of history and little details, and you can tell how much care has gone into looking after it. Our three generations, 11 people in all, fit comfortably. The rooms are spacious, everything was spotless, and it had all we needed to feel at home. We had an incredible week.

There’s a garden with a porch and barbecue, and plenty of space inside too. The house is huge, with six gigantic bedrooms, three lovely bathrooms, a library and a living room. The very large Provençal kitchen stood out. It was clean and pleasant, with its original finishes carefully maintained and a classic style I really liked.

The garden is really nice, and the kids had lots of room to play. We were 12, children included, and it worked perfectly for us. The rooms are large, everything was very clean, and there were thoughtful extras like a dryer, blender and hair dryers. I really enjoyed our stay and we’d definitely come back. Thanks, Fran!
