Las Cruces

The facilities are very basic, nowhere near what I'd expect from a three-star hotel. The food was low quality and there wasn't much of it. We were a hiking group booked for breakfast and dinner, and it was awful, getting worse each day. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and the service fell short. I don't recommend staying here.

Luis was very friendly, attentive, and helpful, though he was almost on his own serving 43 diners. He did what he could, but the waits felt endless. As for the restaurant menu, it was like a school lunch, which I assume matched what the agency paid. Their unusual takes on Russian salad and chickpea hummus aren't something I'd recommend.

The waiters provided excellent service. The restaurant's set menu is filling, but at €28 it feels too expensive for such basic, everyday food. We had chorizo, salad, croquettes, and cachopos, and it was all tasty, just very ordinary. As someone from Asturias, I found the portions exorbitant. I'd suggest offering a choice of two set menus, adjusting the portion sizes, and bringing the price down a little.

I was a little apprehensive when we arrived on a day trip from Córdoba because of the recent reviews, but everyone describes a place from their own experience. For a three-star hotel, I found the service impeccable and the food very good. There wasn't a single day when I had anything to complain about. The room was very nice and clean, too. Definitely recommend it.
