A relaxing stay, though parking's tricky because the spaces are narrow and the turns are awkward. The rooms are very noisy, you can hear your neighbors talking, so keep that in mind when booking. Also, booking through Airbnb seems cheaper than going directly through them.

They wouldn't let me check in despite my confirmed booking, and the staff were unhelpful, acting as if sorting it out was my problem. I was left standing for hours without access to my luggage or any solution, then had to find somewhere else at the last minute, which cost more and caused a lot of stress. The place looked dirty and poorly maintained, nothing like the photos, and the atmosphere felt chaotic. Staff didn't seem to care about guests. They even tried to charge me extra when I hadn't been able to check in. The whole thing was disrespectful and unprofessional, one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I strongly recommend avoiding it. There are better places in Marbella that treat guests properly.

On our short break, the bathroom drains smelled bad when we arrived in the evening. I told reception the next morning and was assured maintenance would deal with it. It took two more reminders over the following two days before anyone came, and all they did was spray disinfectant down the drains, which didn't work. After I complained a fourth time the next day, the manager apologized and offered us another room, four days after I'd first reported it. Not what you'd expect in a supposedly modern apartment.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and we had a great stay at Marbella Golf Resort. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with all the kitchen appliances we needed, two TVs, a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed.
