Apartment Benasol

The bathroom was clean and in good order, and the apartment has useful things like a TV, router, toaster and kitchen utensils. Its central spot was a big plus for us: we came to Benalmádena with my parents to visit a relative until September 8th, and their home was only a two-minute walk away. We could reach shops and everything else on foot. The sofa-bed pillows were the main reason for the two stars. The bedroom pillows seemed fine and sanitized, but some of the others looked as if they'd been put away for ages, with hair on a few and others yellower than a Canary Island banana. The smart TV's universal remote worked when we arrived, then became impossible to use for changing channels at night, so we had to use a phone app. The sliding doors to the small terrace were also very stiff. They really need a proper replacement system.

Toñi was such a wonderful host, always checking that we had what we needed. My husband, daughter and I felt right at home, and we'd happily come back. The apartment was charming, fully equipped and thoughtfully set up. It was also right by the beach, with all sorts of shops close by. I definitely recommend it.

We had a perfect week as a couple, and the owner was easy to communicate with. She even suggested good places for eating and dancing. Puerto Marina is a fantastic base, with endless places for food and entertainment, Carihuela beach close by, and the airport about 15 minutes away. The apartment itself is spectacular, with every detail considered. We'll be back soon.

Toñi was so kind and helpful, and the apartment was clean, new and finished with high-quality things. It was in a perfect location for a couple's getaway. I'd gladly do this again any time of year.
