The air conditioning didn’t work, which made the room genuinely uncomfortable for sleeping in the Costa del Sol heat. On top of that, our room was right beside the bar and noise came straight through the walls until about 1am. We’d booked a much-needed couples break hoping for quiet, and there was no warning at check-in about the room or offer to move us after we raised the noise. For what we paid, we expected a quiet room and working AC. Neither happened. We left frustrated, wouldn’t stay again, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

The large double room had a separate lounge with a settee, table and big window. We overlooked a new hotel under construction, but it wasn’t noisy. The shower was large, though there was pink mould in the grout. The bar and lounge were pleasant, and the cafe snacks were okay. I liked the coffee, it was tasty and not bitter. Hot food in the restaurant was never hot enough, even though there was a microwave. The restaurant staff worked very hard to clear and reset tables quickly.

We were really impressed with our first stay this week for my wife’s birthday. The marina view from the location is amazing, and the food was very good, nicely presented, with a broad self serve buffet. The restaurant staff were first class, and reception staff were really friendly too. We’ll definitely come back.

Breakfast had a wide choice, the bar service was quick and the food there was good too. The location is superb, just a short walk from the sea or the main road, and they have secure facilities for guests bringing golf gear. The staff were attentive and very helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and smelled amazing, and the rooms were clean and airy. A fantastic hotel.
