The restaurant and service were very good, with a regularly changing set menu and a few extras. You can help yourself to vermouth. The hotel itself is old and a bit dated, but it has character; the rooms could use an update, though they're still decent and have what you need. We booked because of its reputation and thought the spa was available. It still exists, but hasn't operated since covid, so keep that in mind if you were expecting to use it.

Breakfast is amazing, and the service in this region is always lovely. For the price, the hotel feels luxurious and the service is great. Highly recommended as a winter starting point for Aneto. (Visited 25/03)

The location is fantastic, with lots of walks starting right outside, and the staff were helpful. We had a nice superior room, though it was rather cold. Dinner on the Menu Del Dia went badly: my duck came out raw and cold, so I sent it back, while my friend's meal was completely different from what they'd ordered and wasn't even on the menu. They brought the correct dish after that. Later we wanted somewhere comfortable to finish our drinks, but there were only hard chairs and benches, and the area was too cold. We ended up back in our room, which was at least more comfortable.

Leandro really made our holiday stay special, going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The venue and location were exceptional too, and the service was top-notch. My wife and I are definitely planning to return next year.

A lovely view and a great base for walkers. It's a bit of a drive in and out along one road, but the trip is worth it.
