8/10
The food was hit or miss, and their cheesecake is downright disgusting, so I'd avoid that. There was plenty to like elsewhere: the receptionists gave great service, especially the blonde working afternoons and early evenings. The suites were spacious and more modern than I expected for a hotel in the country. It's easy to reach by car, within walking distance of everything in town, and only a short drive from the national park.

We wouldn't pay for some of the extras after such a terrible stay, and the hotel accepted that straight away. It must happen often. The whole place was awful, dated, and dirty, from the rooms and corridors to the pool. We didn't want to touch anything. It looks as if it hasn't been maintained since the 90s, with peeling paint, swollen damp wood, and a musty smell everywhere. I can't see how it's rated four stars. If you're going to Benasque, there are plenty of better places. Avoid it.

The views are magnificent, and the rooms are nice. There's a pool, though it's not somewhere to swim laps like at the Olympics. Breakfast was OK, and the restaurant was fine, but service was a bit slow. There was only one poor guy working, and he was doing his best. A very nice hotel.

I had to switch hotels at the last minute, and Sommos was a great find. The staff were welcoming, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. I'm glad I discovered Sommos and can come back.

The staff are really nice, and our room is lovely with a good-sized terrace. Try the fried eggs at breakfast, they're really good.
