The mountain views and the building's art deco interior made a lovely setting for our family celebration at La Castellana. The restaurant worked with us on a beautiful menu featuring local produce, and communication was excellent. Service was attentive while still feeling relaxed and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The waiters were fantastic, and the place felt cozy and family-friendly. The flavors were so delicious they almost overwhelmed your taste buds. Everything was excellent. Thanks for making Christmas Day, December 25th, truly wonderful.

We first stumbled on this place while looking for somewhere to eat around Alt Maestrat, and loved both the generous, exquisite menu and the vintage-contemporary decor, stylish down to the details. A few weeks later we returned to stay, and enjoyed that just as much. It's a hotel in a small village near Benassal, surrounded by nature, and wonderfully peaceful, a real chance to relax and recharge. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The friendly, attentive reception service was a lovely final touch.

The service and food were both very good. That 3-day aged beef, cooked for 12 hours, was spectacular. You have to try it!
