The building itself is stunning, and the hilltop spot gives you incredible views. Staying in a Parador always has a special feel, and this one did too. Dinner was great, especially the cheese plate if you want to sample some excellent local cheeses.

We had a memorable stay thanks to the history and decor, the comfortable feel, delicious food, a beautiful sunset, and the friendly staff and castle kitties. The TV and wifi could use an upgrade, and so could the beds.

There's free parking and a great bar down in the basement. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly. It's an easy walk into town, where there are some nice restaurants.

The place is in a lovely spot in town with great views, and the staff helped us arrange our next parador booking. The room was huge and comfortable, with a palatial bathroom. I'd never seen a shower room with a big rainforest shower head at each end, it was built for two. I couldn't really find anything to fault. The bar, at the bottom of the ducal palace building, is full of history.

I booked by phone about 20 minutes before getting there, and check-in was easy. The room was lovely and comfortable, with a big sitting area and bathroom. I was tired, so I took a short walk around town, had a few glasses of wine in the hotel bar, and went off for a restful sleep. I'd planned to eat in the restaurant because the menu looked good. In the morning I woke up refreshed, had a great breakfast, and headed out.
