Hotel Albades

We stopped here for a night on the way down to Murcia, and had such a delightful stay. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely, and the rooms and bedding were superb. The staff were wonderful, too. We couldn't have picked a better place and will definitely come back on our way home.

Thank you, everyone at Albades. The patience and humanity you showed me and the conference group made this stay such a joy. This place feels healing because of the hearts of its people, as well as the important work they do. I'm grateful to Sra. Tania Lazaro, the whole reception team, Srs. Rocio, Roberto, Marc, Andres, and Sras. Marinela, Isabela, Jennifer, Alejandra, along with everyone else who helped me in the spa, restaurant, and reception. Thank you as well to Sr. Victor for transferring me from the airport. I'm sorry if I've misspelled or left out anyone's name!

Breakfast was plentiful and very good, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was lovely and well located. We had a suite with a large terrace, though the room inside was very small. We booked partly because the hotel advertised a tasting menu and assumed the restaurant would be decent. That was a mistake. Our dinner was a disaster: cold, bland food, fish that was cold and uncooked at both ends of the filet, purple potato like cold glue, and cold vegetables. The pork was tough enough that we couldn't cut it with a knife, and came with cold Padron peppers and undercooked potatoes. We were told the chef wasn't in that evening, so we were left wondering who had cooked it. We refused to pay and left.

The beach is only a short walk away, so it was easy to enjoy the area and unwind. Breakfast had a nice range of good food, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a small mix-up at check-in, but they sorted it out quickly. Everything felt fresh and well cared for, and the hotel was very clean. I had a great stay and would happily come back.
