The bed was two separate beds joined under one sheet, so one of us kept falling into the gap during the night. Breakfast was just as bad: there was plastic wrapping in the salmon, and the manager didn't seem to care, saying it came packed in plastic as if that made finding it on my plate any less disgusting. The chef also couldn't cook an egg without leaving big pieces of shell in it. I went hungry that morning. Wouldn't recommend.

The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, and the spa is great. The food was tasty and healthy, and the staff were wonderfully professional. Excellent in every respect.

We flew from Palm Beach, Florida, and our two weeks at palasiet were worth the trip. We own a health club in Florida and were so impressed with every part of the stay. This is Europe's most underrated experience, a must-visit if you need to focus on your health balance and checkout. We'll be coming every year from now on.

We had a large, clean room with a balcony and a charming view. It came with two bathrobes, water, a kettle and cups. The swimming pool looked nice, and breakfast in the beautifully decorated hotel restaurant was good. The palace-inspired interior is lovely, with cozy, comfortable spaces where you can sit with a coffee and a book. Some parts of the hotel look and smell outdated, but nothing in our room did. There's no direct beach exit, though you can walk there in about five minutes.
