The pool was the one decent part of our stay. The apartment itself was grotty, with awful single beds, and we got bitten quite a lot by bed bugs. The toilet barely flushed, only one socket worked, and the TV was out of order. The free breakfast was horrible, and the office staff where you collect the keys were rude. Awful accommodation.

We'd happily stay again. The apartment was as you'd expect for a cheap place, but it was nice and everything worked. On day seven the cleaner left fresh sheets and towels. Our neighbour was lovely and welcoming, despite what we'd read in other reviews, and the mostly Spanish residents caused us no trouble. We were there for ten days with our two children and arrived in the early hours. The office was shut, but the owner had left the key at the bar across the road, so getting in was easy. The pool was closed and dirty the first morning; someone cleaned it each day after that, and it reopened on day three. The kids loved it. The owner was friendly and let us pay for a late checkout since we were leaving late at night. It's close to the beach, and we had no trouble getting around with shops and bars nearby. Thanks, Bermudas Turis, for a holiday we'll remember.

Apart from a confusing key pickup, this was a great little place to stay, and it was nice and clean. We arrived at about 9 pm and the key office was shut. The number we'd been given wasn't answered, but by luck a woman asked if we were staying at the Bermudas and told us to collect the keys from a hotel around the corner.

We'd be glad to come back, and probably will. The room was nicely decorated, with a new fitted kitchen and washing machine. The ceilings look dated, but that didn't matter to us. One socket in the living room was missing, though it wasn't a problem. I'd read some reviews before arriving and was a bit apprehensive, but there was no reason to be. Check-in with the guy people say doesn't speak English went fine. His English wasn't great, but we managed. You're on holiday in Spain, after all. You get what you pay for, and people expecting five-star service and accommodation at two- or three-star prices need to take a look at themselves.

You have to pay an extra €100 deposit when you arrive, refundable once the room has been checked at checkout. I left on the 4th of June and the room was checked and found OK, but it took three weeks of phone calls to get the money back. I'd insist on the refund before leaving, or pay in cash.
