Beni-Beach Apartments

The apartments are a little dated, and the lifts are slow. There’s also no WiFi. Even so, this was our second stay, and we enjoyed the pools, one large and one smaller, as well as the wonderful views and helpful staff. They were there for us even late at night or early in the morning. We booked three one-bedroom apartments. They’re basic, with a kitchen that has hobs, a fridge/freezer, mugs and an Italian coffee maker. There are two single beds and a big wardrobe in the bedroom. The living room has an L-shaped couch that’s okay for two, plus a table, chairs, drawers and a small TV. The bathroom is big enough. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the old town, with some good restaurants nearby. The tram is around 15-20 minutes away.

We were in a quiet spot with hardly any young people around, and had a great view of the beach. The apartment was clean, the staff were really nice and the pool was lovely. Best holiday ever. Just outside, turn right and you’ll find Halfway, a bar with lovely staff and brilliant food.

The staff were great, and I loved every minute of my stay. I’ll definitely be back.

The pool was a big hit with the family. It has different depths and a kiddie area connected to the main pool, so we could play with both our toddler and older child. There’s a wide lawn around it too, which we loved. The apartments are spacious, though the beds felt a bit hard for us. The kitchenette was decent, with a large modern fridge and freezer for cold drinks. We cooked a few simple things, but weren’t on holiday to make big meals. There’s no air conditioning, but opening the windows cooled the place easily. You can get to the beach directly from the property. A small supermarket with basic supplies at reasonable prices is about 100 metres south. For a bigger shop, walk 15 minutes north to the main area. The route follows the beach, passes a shaded playground and continues into the shopping district.
