Hotel Flats Friends Mar Blau

The location is perfect, right opposite the beach and close to lovely coffee spots, bars and restaurants. The strip is also within walking distance. I’d stay again. Rooms are basic but clean, and we paid extra for a sea view. I’d told them it was a surprise 21st birthday and asked if they could decorate the room. They said they’d make it extra special, but there was nothing there when we arrived. I would have happily paid extra for it. The staff were friendly, and reception is staffed around the clock.

It was an 8/10 stay. The room was well priced, cleaned every day, and came with a free safe. The shower was good. There were a few ants, and the rooms feel a bit outdated. Some sun loungers were broken, and when I asked for two pillows I was only allowed one. Aside from that, it was a perfect stay.

We spent four nights there in September 2025. The location right on the seafront is amazing, close to great bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. It’s worth the money for the location, and we had a great stay overall. The Wi-Fi was very annoying. It stayed connected for only a few minutes at a time, which made it hard to keep in touch with my family while I was travelling alone. My mother and grandma weren’t impressed and wanted to know where I was. The air conditioning also barely blew cold air, then switched off overnight and left me waking up sweltering. I’d have liked a kettle and coffee sachets too, since I need coffee as soon as I get up.

The old town location is brilliant, right in the centre. But the rooms are very basic, and the towels look like they’re meant for toddlers. The front desk staff don’t seem happy to help, so you end up avoiding eye contact. The windows are paper-thin and you can hear everything outside.
