Four Points by Sheraton Costa Blanca Resort

Having breakfast on the spacious terrace and taking in the scenery made each morning feel special. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the restaurant served exceptional dishes. The team were warm and attentive throughout our stay. Our luxurious villa had a private pool and spectacular views of the sea and city. It was a perfect place to relax. This place deserves the recommendation, and it’s definitely somewhere I’d return to.

The only real consolation was the daily activities for adults and children, and the large pool was a nice place to relax. The rest of our six-night summer stay, in July and August 2025, was the most horrible experience I’ve had at a Marriott property during my Marriott Bonvoy membership since 2019. I’m posting this late. I’m a Platinum member, and I had a serious ankle injury on this trip. Nobody welcomed me properly or offered wheelchair help. I had to carry my own luggage to the room, despite having a lot of bags and travelling with my family. Nobody offered an upgrade during the stay. Housekeeping was poor: they changed towels and made the beds and toilets, but left the floors dirty and didn’t provide drinking water. Each day we waited more than 20 minutes with my family to get into breakfast. It was crowded, staff were rude, and most didn’t speak English. I was sick for the last two days, but they wouldn’t allow room service or let my wife bring breakfast back to our room. We couldn’t get room service for anything we needed throughout the stay. The hotel said it was fully booked and we’d have to come down ourselves. Calling reception or room service meant waiting about 10 minutes, only to be told they couldn’t help. Tea and coffee in the room weren’t replenished daily despite my feedback. At checkout on the last day, I was still sick and nobody helped with a wheelchair. My wife had to go downstairs to get both the wheelchair and luggage cart, then come back down for checkout. The reception desk was overflowing every day, and we waited more than 15 minutes for any query. There were far too few staff for such a large property. Reception staff were somewhat courteous and spoke a little English, but other staff barely spoke English and seemed overworked.

This is about the hotel restaurant. We waited an hour for anyone to come to our table, after a man at the bar told us to wait. The drinks took another 30 minutes, and the food arrived cold. Honestly, we would have eaten better and faster if we’d walked into Benidorm.

It sounded like a good hotel in theory, but the service was terrible even though the place was empty in winter. Staff seemed lazy and didn’t care. Reception and room service didn’t answer the phone, and face to face it was clear the workers just weren’t bothered. The room looked nice, but it was far too hot and the air conditioning did nothing. I had to sleep with the balcony door open, even though it was 6 degrees outside. The mini golf outside was fun for the kids, but it was very poorly maintained.
