The hotel was clean, staff were welcoming, and it felt like good value. I gave five stars because my reservations were personal preferences. My window looked straight onto the pool, and without a balcony it felt a bit like a fishbowl. I wanted net curtains, since I had to keep the curtains closed to change or after a shower. The shower was also on the small side for someone who isn't slim. Breakfast was good, and lunch at 10 euros was well worth it.

We had a problem with another accommodation and this hotel took us in at short notice. The staff were kind and helpful, and the area is really nice with all sorts of services nearby. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean, with great air conditioning. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety.

We stayed for three nights and found it very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This was my second visit to the Golden, and I found it comfortable again. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the shops, taxis and buses are handy. The food was great and the Covid restrictions were all in place. Nothing to complain about, and I hope to be back soon.

A budget place with friendly staff. Food was alright, though dinner was better than breakfast. They include a bottle of red, white or rosé wine with your meal.
