Hotel Avenida

The food was hot, plentiful and nicely presented, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a small rooftop pool and jacuzzi, with a few sunbeds. The single rooms don't have balconies and look out onto nearby apartments. The location works well for the Old Town, and it's only a short walk to the New Town. I enjoyed my stay and would come back if it were still good value.

Clean room and a really convenient location. The only snags were that the key card deactivated twice and had to be reset, the lifts are very small, and I would've liked a kettle in the room. Otherwise, all good.

The staff were very friendly, especially waitress L, who was really professional. The chamber maid deserves a mention too. The hotel is close to the beach, but the lifts have a character of their own. The restaurant feels dated, with too many mirrors and tables. The food was well presented, though water should be free.

The lifts are the one drawback. There are only two, they fit three people at a time and serve six floors, so you can end up waiting. Aside from that, we'd definitely recommend the hotel and will be back. We had a great stay. It's right in central Benidorm, close to the beachfront. Our room was small and basic but clean, with everything we needed. We had a balcony overlooking the main street, yet it was surprisingly quiet and we slept well. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The rooftop sun terrace has loungers, a small pool and a jacuzzi. We stayed bed and breakfast, and the drinks at the hotel bar were reasonably priced. All-inclusive is also available. Wi-Fi was free throughout and worked fine for us. Check-out is at noon, and there's a luggage room with its own key card if you're flying home later.
