Hotel Gold Arcos 4 Sup - Modern Luxury Experience

Mido, who works at the sky bar and the Arches lounge, deserves a special mention. He's fantastic, always smiling, and nothing seems like too much trouble. Our room was lovely and had almost everything we needed, kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping staff. We're on half board, and the food has generally been very good. It's not a huge selection, but even as a fussy eater I've been able to find things to eat.

The hotel is well placed for the strip and only five minutes from the beachfront. Our room was massive and thoroughly cleaned, and breakfast had a huge selection of quality food, including free champagne. It's our first time in Benidorm, and the staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everyone in the restaurant, bars, reception and housekeeping was polite and helpful. A special mention for Diego in the Arches Lounge: he's friendly and calming, and made us lovely cocktails. His wit and happy nature made our evening, it's so contagious. We did have a problem with dinner one night. The burger was raw, and when we asked for it to be redone, it came out the same way. The day before, a different chef had made us a lovely one. We told the young waitress, who did what she could, but we decided to eat outside the hotel after that. Even so, we loved the stay and booked to come back in four weeks. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Gold Arcos, you're the heart and soul of the place. Dawn and Tony, room 1204

We've stayed here a few times. It's a lovely hotel, with classy rooms and a handy spot for all the Brit bars. Diego the barman was especially efficient and attentive during our last trip in early January. We'll definitely stay again. Best regards, Nigel B.

The hotel was easy to spot from the strip and the scenic cross viewpoint, thanks to its distinctive exterior and location. We were there for a stag do and made good use of the rooftop bar and pool. The shower had great pressure, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a balcony and a coffee pod machine too. Breakfast had one of the best selections around, with champagne and a chocolate fountain. On our last night, after we'd overdone it in town, the singer in the second bar kept us entertained when we weren't ready for bed. A great place to stay, and the complimentary cocktail was a bonus.
