Les Dunes Suites Benidorm Apartments

The service was good, but the Spanish paella was very disappointing. It tasted bad, didn’t meet my expectations at all and the portion seemed small for the price. I didn’t feel the meal was worth what I paid. Benidorm has plenty of other restaurants with better taste, portions and value.

The food was okay, but I probably wouldn’t try this restaurant again. We stopped in while walking along the beach and waited about an hour and a half for the 2 items we ordered, even though the place wasn’t busy and I could see 4 staff. Getting the bill took around 15 minutes. I had to go to the bar to ask to pay, but was told I could only pay with the waiter, which took another 10 minutes.

The restaurant does beautiful meals at very reasonable prices, and nothing seems too much trouble. It’s right on the beachfront, with amazing views, and ideally placed between Benidorm itself and the Old Town.

We weren’t staying here, just wanted coffee. The waiter was very rude and said the tables were for food only. I pointed out that several people were sitting at tables with only drinks, and he gave us one right at the back of the restaurant. There were very few tables occupied, incidentally.
