Mercure Benidorm

A modern, clean hotel in a peaceful spot, and everything in our room worked fine. The staff were lovely too. My partner had a massage and would definitely recommend it. We only had a short walk to the beachfront, and we’ll 100% be back.

The meals were a real treat, especially the seafood, sashimi, paella, steaks, desserts and fresh juices. We’d recommend booking half board with breakfast and dinner. The staff were so friendly, and the hotel’s location made it easy to walk to the coast and main attractions. We loved the modern design and the lovely green courtyard, which had a cozy garden feel. Our room was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. One small, funny letdown 😅: they didn’t leave the NUXE shower gel. It feels like hotels keep that little cosmetic treasure at the very bottom, haha. Everything else was perfect, and we enjoyed every meal and the whole stay.

The food was a little disappointing because there wasn’t much choice, though it was always fresh and nicely presented. We still think this is the best hotel in Benidorm. You feel relaxed as soon as you arrive, and the decor is fabulous. The pool area is lovely, with warm water and lots of greenery. I’d also recommend one of the treatments at the hotel. It was well worth the money.

The staff, servers and cleaners were all incredibly friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. For my 21st birthday they even decorated our room, which was such a lovely touch. We stayed in a Deluxe room, and its space, cleanliness, amenities and minimalist style made it the best room I’ve experienced. Breakfast and dinner were lovely, with plenty to choose from and a different selection each night, including fresh fruit and vegetables, breads, juices and hot food. The pool looked lovely too, though we didn’t get to use the outdoor facilities. The hotel is just up from Poniente beach, in a much quieter part of Benidorm than the Leviante side, which suited us as a couple. We’re already planning to return later this year. I can’t thank the hotel enough!
