Résidence Benidorm Poniente Pierre & Vacances

We’ve stayed at these hotel flats twice and will definitely return, and recommend them to friends and family. It’s an affordable place for people who like cooking for themselves and getting up whenever they feel like it. Cleaning is only once a week. The pool area is very clean and relaxing, and the staff are great, kind, and quick to get you what you need. The hotel is a long way from a supermarket, which is a real problem for guests without a car. The nearest Minimarked is 600 meters away, and carrying things up the hill is difficult. They don't rent cars at the hotel, but they do help you find one. The woman at reception was especially kind and helpful, very service minded, and spoke fluent English, which made everything easy.

It was a really enjoyable stay and good value for money, and I'll stay again. I did think cleanliness could have been better, though: the cooker hood in the kitchen was dirty, as were the windows and balcony screens.

The apartment is lovely and has all the amenities we need. It's fairly quiet and a good way from the Benidorm bustle I expected, though also quite far from everything, including supermarkets and the beach, which is about a 20 minute walk. The staff have been nothing but polite and friendly. One receptionist didn't understand much English, but told us early on and passed us to someone fluent. We're staying here now and would definitely come again!

The rooms were much nicer than I expected, but the deposit is at risk if you don't leave everything as you found it. The location is about 5 km from the strip and beach, and a taxi is around 12 euros each way, so it wasn't really suited to stag or hen groups despite the advertising. One woman at reception was lovely, while the others were hit and miss. The staff were unfriendly overall, and the security guard seemed dodgy. Euros were stolen. Worst hotel ever, and I won't be back.
