Riviera Beachotel - Recommended for Adults

Just had a four-day break over New Year. Brilliant hotel, with excellent staff, food and cleanliness. Top marks, I’d definitely stay again.

We had a great holiday, and the food was faultless. The lift barely worked, though, and took a while to get moving. One awkward moment was when someone in our party was drunk and we got funny looks. At one point we were even told to stop laughing at the dinner table, which has never happened to me before 😂😂.

The restaurant was a highlight. There was lots to choose from and the food was delicious, so I ate there every night. I’m gutted I missed the chocolate fountain my sister and mum enjoyed the night before I arrived! The house wine was great value at 6 euros a bottle, and the waiters were attentive and lovely to talk to. The terrace bar was nice for watching people over a cocktail, with table service from the hardworking staff. I stayed four nights as a surprise for my sister’s birthday while she and my mother were already there for a week. The reception team arranged cava and chocolates for her, and put our rooms close together on the ground floor. Mine ended up next door to theirs. Everyone we met at the hotel was friendly and nice to chat with, a real credit to the place. My room was spotless, and the air conditioning was excellent in the heat above 30 degrees. The pool is smaller than at other hotels I’ve visited, but even in August there was always a sunbed available. The water was a pleasant temperature and great for cooling off. It’s a lovely hotel in a great location, and I hope I can visit again soon.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, with tea and coffee in them. The staff were so friendly. Absolutely stunning hotel, I loved it.
