We had a pretty good time in Benidorm. Both Levante beach and Poniente beaches are great, and the live music at Morgan’s tavern and Daytona rock really made the holiday. I went to Big Ben bistro twice for their veggie burgers, which were great. The staff at Sol pelicanos Ocas were lovely, and the food was good, though breakfast had no veggie sausages. There was still plenty else to choose from. We felt welcome, and it was great to see the children at the hotel being made welcome and kept entertained.

The long, flat, colourful path makes it easy for walkers, wheelchairs and pushchairs to get along the beachfront, where there are shops, restaurants and bars close by. The beach itself is lovely, with clean sand and plenty of room to walk or lie in the sunshine. I loved walking at the water's edge with the waves around my feet, and swimming was great too. Lifeguards are stationed in some areas. I'd really recommend this beach.

A lovely walk that let us see Benidorm's quieter, more traditional side. Definitely worth seeing.

We got there a little late, around 18:30. The beach still had a crowd, though it wasn't as packed as earlier in the day. The water was really warm, and it stayed sunny until after 21:00.
