Casa La Muntanya Rural Guadalest

The apartment was clean, and check-in was straightforward, but the stay was far from restful. Ants were crawling over the beds, sofa, and pretty much everywhere. We could hear the fridge beside the bed as well as a lot of noise from other guests. The doors creaked badly, and every time the building’s front door slammed, the whole apartment shook. There was constant coming and going, a child next door crying all night, and construction on the street, so our weekend escape was ruined. We were given the Ginjoler apartment. It’s small, with everything in one room, but would have been enough for a weekend. The single bed was uncomfortable and sits on a mezzanine with only about a meter of headroom, so you have to crawl in and out.

They made check-in and check-out easy and gave us really good suggestions for places to visit. The accommodation itself was fantastic, with cleanliness and equipment both a 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

The place felt welcoming and was clean, and everything else was great. It got very hot for a few days, though. There were fans, but they didn’t do enough, so air conditioning is definitely needed.

It’s peaceful and parking is easy. Everything was great, though for a five-star stay I’d have wanted mosquito screens on the windows and a small air conditioner for hot daytime hours.
