The landscape around Torre de Arriba is truly magnificent, and the chalet kitchen was very well equipped for cooking all kinds of dishes. But the accommodation’s poor quality didn’t match the price, and we were disappointed by several things during our three days there in August. We paid for late check-in because we’d arrive in the evening, yet nobody was there to welcome us. Instead, we collected the key from a coded box. The power went out on the first evening, and we didn’t understand why. At 6 a.m. the next morning, an alarm connected to the cabin’s roof solar panels woke us. A friendly elderly person handles the accommodation’s technical problems, but they’re left to manage everything alone. The living room air conditioning wasn’t enough to cool the chalet, so spring or winter might be more comfortable. The pool needs more regular cleaning, as there was a lot of sediment on the bottom. The road in is rather dangerous, so it’s better to have a 4x4 and be an experienced driver. Finally, an item of value went missing on our last day. We had to leave, but asked the owner to let us know if it turned up. We never got a reply.

The view is stunning, the rooms are in top condition, and the kitchen is too. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, and I’ll definitely return.

The beds are so comfy, and the decor and little details are a delight. If you enjoy nature and quiet surroundings, I’d recommend it 100%. Thank you.

Torre de Arriba made for a great stay in the middle of the mountains. The room was spacious, modern, and clean, and there’s a great kitchen plus a coffee machine in the main facility. It’s a wonderful place for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The road there is a bit rough and bumpy, so drive carefully.

The hotel has several outdoor spots where you can enjoy the views and quiet, and there’s an unheated swimming pool. You can set off on a 14 km walk right from the property. It’s a fantastic little hotel in the Alicante mountains, with access to a beautiful sitting and dining room and a very well-equipped kitchen. It sits at the end of an unpaved road beside the Comptador mountain peak. Electric car owners can charge their car in the parking area.
